Official Roster Announced for Upcoming Season
The University of Connecticut has released the official roster for its 2023-24 men's basketball team. The Huskies are coming off a successful season in which they finished 31-8 overall and 13-7 in Big East play. They advanced to the NCAA Tournament's second round before being eliminated by Purdue.
The 2023-24 roster features a mix of returning players and newcomers. Senior guard Adama Sanogo is back after leading the team in scoring and rebounding last season. He is joined by fellow senior Isaiah Whaley, a versatile forward. Junior guard Tyler Polley and sophomore forward Andre Jackson are also key returning players.
The Huskies have added several talented transfers to their roster. Guard Hassan Diarra joins the team from Texas A&M. He is a skilled shooter and playmaker. Forward Donovan Clingan comes to UConn from Pitt. He is a strong rebounder and defender. Former St. Bonaventure guard Kyle Lofton has also joined the program.
