Mavericks Even Series at 2-2 with 96-93 Game 4 Win

Doncic Powers Dallas to Victory, Spoils Leonard's Return

The Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers are all square at 2-2 in their Western Conference semifinals series after the Mavs' 96-93 victory in Game 4 on Tuesday night. Luka Doncic led the way for Dallas with 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists, including a pair of key baskets in the final minutes of the game. Kawhi Leonard made his return to the Clippers' lineup after missing Game 3 due to a knee injury, but he was limited to just 30 points on 10-of-25 shooting. The Mavericks were able to overcome a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win the game. Doncic scored 12 points in the final period, including a driving layup with just over a minute remaining that gave Dallas a 94-93 lead. The Clippers had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but Leonard's three-point attempt bounced off the rim. The series now shifts back to Dallas for Game 5 on Thursday night. The Mavericks will be looking to take a 3-2 lead in the series, while the Clippers will be hoping to avoid falling down 3-1.
