After Missing Time With A Hamstring Injury Darren Waller Is Back On The Field For The Raiders

Raiders TE Darren Waller Returns to Practice After Hamstring Injury

After missing time with a hamstring injury, Darren Waller is back on the field for the Raiders.

The tight end's return bodes well for the Raiders, who are looking to make a playoff push.

Waller last played in late October against the Jets. Big Blue placed the TE on injured reserve on November 4. Waller is one of the more productive tight ends in the NFL when healthy. So his return is a big boost for the Raiders.

Waller returning bodes well for his team. The Raiders are currently in the playoff hunt. They are 6-7 and in second place in the AFC West. With Waller back in the lineup, the Raiders will be a more dangerous team.

Waller is a Pro Bowler. He has been one of the most consistent tight ends in the NFL over the past few seasons. In 2021, he had 55 catches for 665 yards and two touchdowns. He is a big target for quarterback Derek Carr. He is also a good blocker.

The Raiders are hoping that Waller can help them make a playoff push. They have a tough schedule remaining, but they believe that they can make a run. With Waller back in the lineup, they have a better chance of doing so.
