Arsenal took the lead in the 55th minute through Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian forward latched onto a loose ball in the Wolves defence and fired a low shot into the bottom corner.
Wolves pushed for an equaliser but were unable to find a way through the Arsenal defence. The Gunners held on to claim a valuable three points.
